Integrations

Relay can integrate with Jitsi Meet for calls and KLIPY for GIF search. Configure service URLs and API keys under Administration > Integrations. API keys remain server-side.

The optional local #partyline connects users on the same instance through a synthetic network. Its history uses a stable internal network ID, so earlier messages survive restarts and display-name changes.

The built-in shortener supports a threshold, expiration, path prefix, and optional base URL. Redirect data is stored server-side; users manage their own entries under Settings > Short Links.

Branding

Administrators can choose the default client theme, show a logo on authentication screens and the sidebar, and set primary and inverted logo URLs. When uploads are enabled, logo assets can be uploaded. Relay falls back to the primary asset when no inverted logo is configured.

Use HTTPS assets with stable URLs, accessible contrast, and concise alternative text.
